Gomoti Plains Camp is named after the Gomoti River situated nearby with roaming flood plains based on either side of the camp strewn with towering palm trees. The camp has 10 luxury tents which include 2 luxury family tents, all with en-suite bathroom facilities.

The tents and main area are slightly raised on wooden decks overlooking the Gomoti river system. All eight double tents take two guests and the two family rooms can hold four guests. All rooms have hot and cold running water, inside and outside showers, flush toilets and twin his and her basins.

The tented main area includes the dining area, lounge, a library, curio shop and a swimming pool with loungers.

Gomoti Plains is situated on the south-east edge of the Okavango Delta and is part of the NG32 concession, which in itelf is devided into private concessions that are used by differerent operators. Chitabe Camp is located about 18km further north and Qorokwe Camp sits pretty much next door along the same river.

Gomoti Plains Camp is accessible by light aircraft only. Flight time to Maun in a Cessna Caravan is 20 minutes, and 1 hour 40 minutes to Kasane. It is a 30 minutes drive from the airstirp to camp.

The area is known for its large concentrations of wildlife which thrive on the Gomoti plains and waterways.

Sighting include cats such as lion, leopard and cheetah. Elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu and the water loving red lechwe are all present and guarantee fantastic game drives and water activities.

Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives. Water-based activities such as motorboat and traditional ‘mokoro' dugout canoe. The water activities are water dependent.

Because the camp is located in a private concession, night driving with a searchlight and off-road driving for special animal observation is allowed. Close-up shots are guaranteed.
