The tents with en-suite bathrooms are raised on platforms and are facing the river or the Linyanti swamp. Sandy paths lead to the main area, which consists of a lounge, bar and dining area. There is also a pool. In the evening, guests gather around the fireplace while the camp crew prepares dinner under the stars in the traditional boma.
The camp is only accessible by light aircraft. The camp is situated approx. 60 minutes drive from Linyanti Airstrip. Flight time to Maun in a Cessna Caravan is 50 minutes, and 45 minutes to Kasane.
Linyanti Tented Camp is part of the private Linyanti Concession (1,200 km²). There are three other camps in this concession: Duma Tau Camp, Savuti Camp and the premier Kings Pool Camp.
Game drives usually take place along the Linyanti River, where many animals, mostly lion, leopard and hyena, can be seen at the forest's edge or on the grassland. The mopane woodland behind the camp makes the guide's life that little bit harder, but the chances of photographing roan during the dry season are very high.
Because the camp is located in a private concession, night driving with a searchlight and off-road driving for special animal observation is allowed. Close-up shots are guaranteed.
