Solio Lodge
Solio Conservancy, Laikipia
Accommodation
Centered in the middle of an extensive, private conservancy, the lodge offers panoramic views of the nearby hills and Mount Kenya in the distance.
The five luxurios cottages with private decks have a private lounge area with open fire for the cooler evenings and large glass pane windows to take in the panoramic view. The en-suite bathrooms have double sinks, showers, baths, separate toilets and dressing areas. One of the rooms is a family unit encompassing one twin cottage and one double cottage with a shared living area.
The main area contains a spacious seating area as well as a restaurant. On the ‚upper‘ deck of the main area is a little curio shop and lounge area with views over the lawn that stretches in front of the lodge. A wooden deck at the end of the lawn is built around a huge accacia tree and serves as venue for meals under the stars.
