Hakusembe River Lodge offers 20 air-conditioned chalets overlooking the Okavango River, including 6 x twin, 12 x triple, one villa and one family room. The rooms are spread over a large garden under acacia trees. Standard facilities include a fridge, mosquito net, tea/coffee station and safe.

The thatched main lodge area has a reception, swimming pool, a bar and the restaurant with a large outside deck.

Situated only a few kilometers from Rundu, Hakusembe River Lodge is breaking the long haul from Etosha to the Zambezi and Vic Falls. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Okavango river which rises in Angola and feeds the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It forms the border to Angola.

Activities include guided river safaris, an early morning guided bird watching walk (over 400 species have been spotted locally), fishing and the very popular sunset cruise.
