Okahirongo River Camp
Kunene - Kaokoveld
Accommodation
Okahirongo River Camp's airy, open-plan design comprises various clay-coloured cubes that serve as restaurant, lounge and library. The focal point of the camp is a large infinity pool that offers fantastic views over the river landscape, stretching as far as the surrounding mountains. Six raised rooms are arranged around the camp, each with a beautiful veranda offering superb, sweeping vistas, an en-suite bathroom and indoor and outdoor showers.
Location
Okahirongo River Camp sits in the remote and unpopulated northwest of Namibia, in a region known as Marienfluss. The Kunene River flowing past the front of the camp marks the natural border with Angola.
The region is only accessible by air or by a guided 4x4 vehicle via van Zyl's Pass or Red Drum, from where tours take guests to Marienfluss and the Kaokoveld.
Wildlife
Although this region is visited more for its spectacular landscape than its game viewing, guests can observe the sunbathing crocodile that live in the river here.

The camp offers walks, nature drives, fishing, boat trips and a Himba village visit.
