Fregate House is where the reception, boutique, library and the main restaurant are located. It is where interantional gourmet cuisine is served, as where at Plantation House the chef is specialized in fine creole dishes. But basically you may have your dinner wherever you want, just let your private butler know and he will happily assist with all arrangements, whether it be a private dinner at your villa or at own of the beaches.
The air-conditioned gym facility by the Rock Spa are located on top of the hill. The resident instructor offers yoga lessons at any time of day.
There is a range of sailing, surfing and kayaking equipment - from Hobie Cats to optimists for children, windsurfing boards, water skis or banana towing. Of course diving can be arranged as well as deep sea fishing.
The protection and conservation of the island's unique environment is a major achievement on Fregate Island and one of the reason why the island remains home to such an amazing biodiversity. About 3,500 Giant Aldabra Tortoises roam freely across the wilds of the island. They are pretty much everywhere!. Some of them just love it when you touch their neck.
