Nestled in the Leadwood tree canopy, elegant Tree Camp is a celebration of over 4 decades of connection and kinship with the free roaming leopards that move through Londolozi.
Tree Camp's six suites (71m²) are surrounded by trees and provide wonderful view of the greenery. The suites feature en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor shower, contemplation decks (salas) and private plunge pool. The open main building is both tasteful and cosy and from the raised terrace, the Sand River sparkles in the light of the countless lanterns positioned around the camp in the evening.
Tree Camp does not accommodate children under the age of 16, unless guests book the camp exclusively.
Location
Londolozi Game Reserve is a nature reserve situated in the very heart of the famous Sabi Sand Reserve. The reserve is accessed in approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by air and 5 hours by car from Johannesburg.
Wildlife
The stars of numerous documentary films, the Londolozi is renowned for its leopard and the chances of encountering big cat here are excellent. Londolozi is also home to numerous other species of animal, including elephant, hyena, rhino, antelope and giraffe. The Sand River winds its way through the reserve, attracting a large variety of wildlife and birdlife.
Activities
Game drives in open safari vehicles, night drives and daily bushwalks are available.
