Guests of Naries Namakwa Retreat stay either in one of the three dome-shaped Mountain Suites or in the classic Manor House, which offers five double rooms. Breakfast and dinner are served in the Manor House.

The Mountain Suites are ingeniously built into the rounded rocks of the foothills of Spektakelberg and offer magnificent views of the Namakwaland. The Manor House is surrounded by manicured gardens and a swimming pool.

Naries is situated on the edge of the Spektakelberg between the towns of Springbok and Kleinzee on the coast. Ideally positioned to explore the Namakwa region from the Richtersveld in the north to the shipwrecks in the west.

The lodge offers game drives in an open Land Rover. Excursions to the more than 130 Bushman rock paintings are also exciting. Other activities include hiking, canoeing, archery, mountain biking, fishing and swimming in natural rock pools or in one of the lodge's four swimming pools, one of which is even heated.

In spring (August to October), the plants awaken and transform the area around Springbok into a veritable sea of flowers.
