More intimate and contemporary in style than Royal Malewane Lodge, Farmstead consists of a main lodge area, three Luxury Farm Suites and the Farmhouse - a private bush villa. Farmstead is offered as four individual units but can also be booked exclusively for up to 14 guests.

Each Luxury Farm Suite (182m²) has a spacious bedroom and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, as well as an outdoor shower. There are large front and back verandahs, plus a beautiful deck and a private pool overlooking the bush. The Farmstead includes a spacious main area with lounge and dining areas, a fire pit, a spa treatment room as well as a gym.

Royal Malewane is situated in a 13,000 hectare private concession west of the Kruger National Park (Greater Kruger) within the Thornybush Reserve. In 2017 the fence between Thornybush and Timbavati was removed so animals move freely between the two reserves.

The Farmstead is located approximately 35 minutes from Hoedspruit Airport, which offers direct flights to Johannesburg and Capetown.

With elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, giraffe and much, much more, the Greater Kruger Area offers excellent game viewing possibilities. Guests get to discover the area and track animals together with highly qualified guides.

The Farmstead offers day and night game drives and individual bushwalking tours.
