Both lodges sit in the 18,210 hectare Singita Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which is part of the Sabi Sand Reserve. The reserve is made up of typical Kruger Park bush, romantic riverbanks and several open plains.

Flights from Johannesburg arrive at Singita Sabi Sand Airstrip, which is located approximately 10 minutes from the lodges.

The Sabi Sand Reserve is one of the best regions in which to see lion and leopard. Animals are free to roam between Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand, and year-round sightings are practically guaranteed. Elephant, zebra, giraffe, buffalo and rhino also make this region their home. Hippo and crocodile can be found wallowing in the Sand River.
