Singita Sweni
Singita Kruger Game Reserve
Accommodation
Singita Sweni is situated on the banks of Sweni River, a short walking distance from Lebombo. With just six 1-bedroom suites and the secluded Pool Suite, the lodge is very small and intimate and blends perfectly with its riverbank location. Inspired by beetle shells, chameleons, birds’ wings and the surrounding trees, Sweni Lodge’s subtle glamour celebrates gold and bronze ore, gleaming timbers and vibrant pops of colour.
Sitting directly on the riverbank, the stilted suites peek out from behind shade-giving trees. Each of the glass-fronted rooms features a cosy bedroom, lounge, en-suite bathroom and sliding doors leading to a verandah with lounge chairs and a daybed that can also be used to sleep under the stars. The Pool Suite (-> Images of the Pool Suite) comes with its own private pool, secluded location and can be connected to the adjacent suite which allows for a more expansive option and adds an extra layer of privacy that’s perfect for families.
Sweni also boasts a swimming pool, lounge, bar, interactive kitchen and an interesting wine cellar, the contents of which are included in the price. The in-house sommelier is happy to find the perfect wine to match your menu. Sweni is a truly fantastic accommodation option and a trip to this side of the Kruger is highly recommended.
