Intimate Camp Zebra
Northern Serengeti
Accommodation
Camp Zebra is a seasonal mobile camp in the Serengeti. The ten guest tents are spacious and the beds can be arranged as doubles or twins, or a third bed can be added. The private bathroom is equipped with a bush shower like all mobile camps (hot water on request). Electricity for lights and charging station for camera batteries or similar are available throughout.
Two family tent consist of two en-suite bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a shared lounge.
At the center of Camp Zebra are two larger tents, one used as a lounge and bar and the other serving as a mess tent with a large dining table. As is so often the case in such personal accommodations, you get to know the other guests on site and it's not uncommon for true friendships to develop that last beyond a pleasant evening.
Location
The location of Camp Zebra is moved twice a year. Following the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra, it is located in the north of the Serengeti from July to the end of November. From mid December to March, the camp is located in the Ndutu area.
Wildlife
The savannahs in the Serengeti are known for the many predators. Lion, cheetah, hyena and leopard roam the vast plains of the Serengeti in search of prey.
Camp Zebra provides access to one of the most amazing natural spectacles on earth - the Great Migration. This refers to the movement of roughly two million wildebeest and zebra in search of fresh grass in the Serengeti. Witness the spectacular Mara River crossings in the northern Serengeti or the birth of thousands of calves in the southern Serengeti.

Permanent Camps
Permanent camps do not change location and therefore have a better infrastructure than mobile camps.
Mobile Camps
Mobile camps operate in the Serengeti and change their location two or three times a year following the Great Migration of the wildebeest and zebra. Mobile camps have a simpler, bush-like character. Although the rooms have an en-suite bathroom, there is often no running water in the rooms. Bathrooms are then equipped with a so-called bucket shower that needs to be filled with hot water by the camp team on demand.
