Location
One Nature Mara River is located near the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti, a 30 minutes drive from the Kogatende Airstrip.

Wildlife
The Great Migration of the wildebeest and zebras and the crossings of the Mara River can be witnessed from July to October - a special event and a fantastic highlight of any trip to the Serengeti.

During the rest of the year, Northern Serengeti is quite with guests and this is exactly the reason why you should visit. The resident game at Lamai Serengeti is spectacular all year round. Plains game in the form of zebra, topi, gazelles, impala, buffalo and giraffe all frequent the area. Lion are rarely far away and leopard, ever present, but always elusive, stalk the rocky kopjes and river lines.

Activities
The camp offers game drives & walking safaris.

At One Nature Mara River, the open safari vehicles are available in both four and six-seater options. Each vehicle is equipped with Wi-Fi, a fridge stocked with refreshments, charging sockets for cameras and phones and binoculars for each guest.

Permanent Camps
Permanent camps do not change location and therefore have a better infrastructure than mobile camps.
Mobile Camps
Mobile camps operate in the Serengeti and change their location two or three times a year following the Great Migration of the wildebeest and zebra. Mobile camps have a simpler, bush-like character. Although the rooms have an en-suite bathroom, there is often no running water in the rooms. Bathrooms are then equipped with a so-called bucket shower that needs to be filled with hot water by the camp team on demand.
