The Mara River Crossings of the Great Migration take place in Northern Serengeti from July to October each year. We visit all famous parks en route such as Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and then cross the famous Serengeti from South to North. These epic trips end at the Mara River where you will witness river crossings of thousands and thousands of wildebeest and zebras.

The Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras moves to the grassy planes of the Southern Serengeti at the end of the year. The animals usually remain in an area called Ndutu, or alternatively they can be found in the Kusini area or Maswa Game Reserve. It is the time when the young ones are born. The movements of the herds entirely depend on the rain falls and are hard to predict. It is best to concentrate on Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, as these areas deliver the best wildlife sightings at this time of the year.
