The Royal Livingstone Hotel takes its name from the illustrious discoverer, Dr. David Livingstone. Beautifully furnished with colonial furniture, the hotel harks back to the elegance of a bygone era. The entire estate is made up of seventeen buildings housing 173 en-suite rooms with private verandas. The three suites comprise separate bedroom and lounge; the Presidential Suite comes with an additional bedroom.
All rooms are equipped with a TV, air-conditioning, minibar, safe, telephone and tea & coffee station. The bathrooms are designed in a Victorian style and equipped with bathtub and shower. The main building houses a restaurant, bar and reception and looks out onto a beautiful, large garden with a well maintained swimming pool surrounded by comfortable loungers.
Location
The Royal Livingstone Hotel is situated on the Zambian side of the falls. Guests can see from the garden how the water flows towards the lip of the falls before disappearing into the gorge. The hotel is located just several hundred metres from the falls.
Activities
Possible activities are visits to the Victoria Falls, sundowner cruises, visits to
the local market and Livingstone town. Livingstone is rich in history and certainly worth
exploring. It dates back to 1905 when the famous Victoria Falls bridge, spanning the
Zambezi River, was completed in April of that year. Also on offer is a variety of adrenalineloaded
activities: white water rafting, bungee jumping, abseiling, and helicopter flights
over the Falls.

A dazzle of zebras is living on the property as well as a few giraffes.The hotel offers 24-hour room service, butler service, laundry service, babysitting service and beauty care in the hotel's specially erected garden tents.
