Zambia Itineraries
Fly-In Safaris
The parks in Zambia are best combined by small aircraft as driving distances between the parks are huge. The best known parks in Zambia are Lower Zambezi, South Luangwa, Kafue, and of course Victoria Falls / Livingstone with its world-famous waterfalls. Lesser known are the Liuwa Plain, the Bangweulu wetlands and North Luangwa.Walking Safaris
Zambia is particularly famous for its walking safaris. Discover your senses while meeting wild animals on foot. Almost every camp in Zambia runs walking safaris, usually conducted by a specialised guide and ranger team. Some camps are even pure walking camps.Cross Border
Should you wish to complete your safari in Zambia with some days on the beach, please consider Lake Malawi as an alternative to the sea - Lake Malawi is a very large body of water too! There are good international flight connections to Rwanda for a gorilla trekking or down to Capetown in South Africa.
Livingstone
Livingstone is located above the falls, on the Zambian side and offers a different perspective of the mighty Victoria Falls. Some high profile lodges are located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi and offer boat trips and game drives in addition to the obligatory visit to the falls.
