Sharazad Boutique Hotel and Sharazād Oasis Retreat are located right next to each other and the two properties share 200m of beachfront and a large tropical garden. The restaurants, bars and pools form a small village where both families and couples enjoy a relaxed beach holiday on Zanzibar.
All the facilities of both properties are open to all guests - the View Restaurant with pool bar next to the main pool in the center of the property and on the Oasis side the Jungle Pool, the Duyen Vietnamese Restaurant & bar, the Bedouin Tent and Smoothie's Bar, the yoga studio, the Beach Jungle Gym, the Nuru Spa & Wellness Garden and the Kite & Watersport Center.
At the Boutique Hotel, the Sea View Villa is booked on a private basis or as individual rooms and consists of 6 spacious en-suite rooms that surround a courtyard pool. All the rooms have double access to/from the pool and veranda - the Sea View Rooms (3) face the beach, the Garden View Rooms (2) walk out into the garden and the Pool View Room (1) faces the courtyard. There is also a family house with 2 bedrooms (one en-suite) and fully equipped kitchen and 3 two-storey bungalows with 2 bedrooms each (2 x sea view bungalow, 1 x garden view bungalow).
The Oasis offers two Deluxe Beach Suites at the far end of the property, 6 deluxe sea view bungalows with an outdoor sitting area & additional outdoor shower, 3 deluxe sea view rooms (max 4 per room), a beach studio with two en-usite bedrooms (max 5) and a deluxe beach bungalow close to the beach with 2 extra beds for children on the mezzanine mansard upstairs.
Location
Jambiani is well known for it’s beautiful beaches, amazing diving & snorkeling and water sports. It is a one-hour drive from the airport to Jambiani on the east coast of Zanzibar.
The high and low tides alternate every 6 hours and vary by 45 minutes from one day to the next. At low tide, the reef in front of the lodge is exposed and water sports in front of the lodge is not possible. However, kiters can walk along the beach towards Paje, where kiting in the lagoon is possible at all times.
