Location
Paje is well known for it’s beautiful beaches, amazing diving & snorkeling and water sports, where people come from all over the world to kite surf. You will find it in just over 45 minutes from the airport. The village of Paje has developed quite a lively scene with various bars and restaurants on the beach. For those looking for some entertainment, Paje is a 15-minute walk along the beach.

The high and low tides alternate every 6 hours and vary by 45 minutes from one day to the next. Sheltered by a long barrier reef, the east coast of Zanzibar consists of gently sloping white sandy beaches. Most of the time comfortable swimming in crystalline water is possible.

In the lagoon, in front of the lodge, you will find a perfect kite heaven, shallow water for beginners and flat water for freestyle / freeride experts. The best months for beginners are from mid-June until mid-October and the end of December until mid-March. From June until October the Kusi blows from the south-east, in December the Kaskazi blows from the north-east. The best months for experts are from mid-June until mid-September and the end of December/beginning of January until the end of February.
