Zambezi Expeditions
Mana Pools National Park
Accommodation
Zambezi Life Styles is an authentic bush camp located on the banks of the Zambezi River inside Mana Pools National Park. With only five twin-bedded tents this is quite a personal affair.
Each room provides open-air bathroom facilities that include flush toilets and an alfresco hot bucket shower. There is no running water, but water is provided on a regular basis and the buckets for the shower will be filled with hot water. There is ample space under your tent's canopy to sit outside and enjoy the river view.
The main mess tent provides a dining and seating area and a small bar. There is no decking or any raised plattform, it is a real bush camp.
Location
Mana Pools National Park is situated in Zambezi Valley, North Zimbabwe, on the border with Zambia. The opposite side of the Zambezi is home to the mountains of the Great African Rift Valley and Lower Zambezi National Park. This section of the Zambezi is renowned for its four large lagoons: Main, Chine, Long and Chisambuk. ‘Mana' actually means ‘four' in the local Shona language.
Zambezi Lifestyle Camp can be reached by flying to Harare in Zimbabwe before taking a 1.5-hour light aircraft flight to camp, or in a light aircraft from Victoria Falls (2 hrs).

Such predators as lion, hyena and wild dog are regularly sighted, even cheetah is possible. Leopards are normally only seen after dark.
Please note that rhino, wildebeest and giraffe are not present in the park.
