By Plane Flight to Chitabe Lediba Camp
2 nights Chitabe Lediba Camp, Okavango Delta

Chitabe Lediba is the intimate little sister camp of Chitabe. Five traditional tents sit on raised platforms along the edge of the forest, with striking views over the plain to the front. Each room has en-suite facilities, a small veranda and additional outdoor shower. Two of the tents have been specially constructed for families.

The main building is very open, airy and designed with comfort in mind. On the one side the bar and lounge are located, on the other side the dining area leads out to a platform with a fire place under the stars.

Around the corner a small pool awaits. Recently a platform has been built for private dinners for families and friends who prefer a evening amongst themselves. Another dining option is the Boma that is tucked away behind the main building.

Location
Chitabe Lediba is situated on the south-east edge of the Okavango Delta, about twenty minutes flying distance from Maun. This should not lead one to believe, however, that the game region surrounding Chitabe Lediba is not one of the finest in the whole delta. Open grasslands alternate with lush forests and narrow waterways to form a mosaic of different habitats that attracts a large variety of animal species.

Chitabe Lediba Camp is only accessible by light aircraft. The camp is located approx. 40 minutes drive from Chitabe Airstrip. Flight time to Maun in a Cessna Caravan is 20 minutes, and 1 hour 40 minutes to Kasane.

Chitabe Lediba Camp is part of the private Chitabe Concession (280 km²). There are two camps in this concession: Chitabe Lediba Camp and Chitabe Camp. Both camps belong together and are approximately five minutes walking distance apart.

By Plane Flight to Little Tubu Camp
2 nights Little Tubu Camp, Okavango Delta

Little Tubu is Tubu Tree's sister camp. Located just around the corner of Tubu Tree Camp, this small camp offers a very private experience with just three rooms.

All rooms have king-size beds (or twins), a lounge, a bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower and a delightful deck to relax and read on. The rooms are connected to the main area via raised walkways. One of the rooms is a family room that has two adjoining tents, each with its own bathroom and a common lounge in the middle.

A boma is built in front of camp on ground level and is used for adventurous 'dinner under the stars'. The camp also features a pool area, which offers a welcome cool-down on hot days after a long game drive.

Location
Little Tubu Camp is situated in the western Okavango Delta on a large peninsula (Hunda Island) that ensures great year-round game drives. The plain in front of the camp usually fills with water during the floods, turning into a lagoon brimming with antelope and birdlife from April until September.

The region is one of the most beautiful and diverse in the whole Okavango Delta, and the romantic palm islands create a real Caribbean feeling.

Little Tubu Camp is only accessible by light aircraft. Hunda Airstrip is located approximately 15 minutes from the camp. Flight time to Maun in a Cessna Caravan is 35 minutes, and 1 hour 20 minutes to Kasane.

Little Tubu Camp is part of the private Jao Concession (630 km²). Pelo Camp, Jacana Camp, Kwetsani Camp and the premier Jao Camp all belong to this concession.

By Plane Flight to Little Vumbura Camp
3 nights Little Vumbura Camp, Okavango Delta

The charming Little Vumbura Camp has six large and lovingly furnished rooms, each with en-suite facilities, veranda with lounge sofa and, of course, spectacular panoramic views. A beautiful pool is located close to the main building, which also houses a large outdoor deck with fire pit, an open dining area with bar, a very comfortable lounge and a small library. The whole is finished in the style of a typical ‘small but nice' bush camp.

Location
The camp is situated close to permanent floodwaters, so mokoro trips and all other water-based activities are on offer throughout the year. The region also has enough dry land throughout the year to offer exciting game drives with plenty to see.

Little Vumbura is the little sister of the premier Vumbura Plains Camp. It is situated on a picturesque green island and is surrounded by broad rivers and reed-covered plains in the north of the Okavango Delta. It's out of the jeep and into a motorboat for the last 500m to the camp, as you chug along greeting the hippos.

Little Vumbura Camp is only accessible by light aircraft. The private airstrip is located approximately 45 minutes from the camp. Flight time to Maun in a Cessna Caravan is 35 minutes, and 1 hour 15 minutes to Kasane.

Little Vumbura Camp is part of the private Kwedi Concession (900 km²). Vumbura Plains Camp also belongs to this concession.

By Plane Flight to North Island Okavango
3 nights North Island Okavango, Okavango North

North Island Okavango is found on an island (known locally as Xuxuga) surrounded by the diverse habitats of this area – seasonal floodplains, permanent waterways, woodland and open savannah. Being at the upstream end of the Okavango Delta, this area is the first to get the annual floodwaters, opening up waterbased viewing activities.

The camp offers 4 spacious suites, each resting on raised wooden decks under the shady boughs of wild ebony trees, with stunning views of the lagoon. Each offers 140 square metres of total floor space, with 80 square metres of interior floor space. The rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, mini-bar, ceiling-fan, a private veranda and a private plunge pool with a sunken sundeck. Each bed also comes with an ‘over-the-bed’ cooling system for sleeping comfort. For the cooler winter nights, there is a cosy fireplace to relax in front of, making each tent a romantic safari experience.

The camp sits peacefully in front of a glorious hippo-filled lagoon, shaded by a congregation of enormous trees, with a separate lounge and dining area to enjoy delicious dinners, connected by a wooden deck that extends onwards for stargazing around a crackling firepit at night. To the side, there is a separate library for resting and reading and an outdoor gym to exercise in, while surrounded by the wild.

Location
The camp ist located in the semi-private game rich NG12 Sekwana Concession on the northern fringes of the Okavango Delta, just north of the renowned Duba Concession. At around 935 square kilometres, the concession encompasses a good part of the Selinda Spillway and stretches from the Okavango Delta to the Selinda Reserve. It used to be a concession that was lesser used for safaris but this is changing quickly with reputable operators moving in and wildlife quickly getting used to the game drive vehicles.

Semi-private means that various safari operators use the area and there is also presence of villages in the north and west of this community concession. The vetenary fence (buffalo fence) that is still present (but should be removed soon) is in a dilapidated state and animals can cross pretty freely.

The camp is accessed by light aircraft to Kadizora airstrip, followed by a short onward transfer to camp. Flight time to Maun in a Cessna Caravan is 45 minutes, and 1 hour 20 minutes to Kasane.
