The No.5 Boutique Hotel is a pleasant and much more private alternative to the corporate hotels in Entebbe. Its close proximity to the International Airport makes it the perfect stopover before or after your Uganda trip. The hotel's ten en-suite rooms are located in the main building, five of which are on the lower floor with direct access to the garden and five on the upper floor with a small balcony. The annex building is occupied by apartments that are rented for longer periods of time.
The No.5 restaurant offers international cuisine on a high level and an impressive selection of fine wines from South Africa. In the center of the green garden lies the large swimming pool where you can relax and mentally prepare yourself for your Uganda trip (or recall your journey before heading back to your home country). There is also a little spa offering massages next to the swimming pool.
Kyaninga Lodge is the work of an English visionary who built this lodge within 6 years more or less on his own! It is located at Kyaninga Crater Lake, about 7km north of the town of Fort Portal. The construction is quite dramatic. Kyaninga was built on wooden stilts and long walkways connect the cottages to the multi-story main building that towers at the top. In front of the main building are sundecks and a swimming pool.
The eight cottages have very comfortable and large bedrooms with a little lounge, as well as a private bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and a separate shower. The rooms also offer a private terrace where you can enjoy breakfast tea and gaze at the impressive Rwenzori mountain range in the distance.
Kyaninga Lodge overlooks Lake Kyaninga and is about an hour's drive from Kibale Forest and about two hours' drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The wooden floors, high ceilings and carefully chosen interior design give the rooms style and grandeur - your perfect home away from home in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Four of the rooms, the Deluxe Bandas, are larger and provide even more space.

The lodge has vast grounds - in the middle of it sits the beautifully restored main house, which was a coffee roastery once. The old building has been carefully restored and transformed into a modern living room. If the weather permits, meals are served on the terrace. There is also a beautiful swimming pool and spa.
Kyambura Gorge is situated close to the lodge. Descending the steep gorge and crossing the log bridges over the river requires some agility and fitness. Chimp Trekking requires a permit, which is issued in advance and the trekkers must be accompanied by an official ranger.
